Configuring Network Interfaces and Ports

The FAUbox offers the option to make the client search for connections in a specific network interface and port. (We do recommend using the default settings though.)

1. To make the Client search for a connection in a specific network:

1. Click on Preferences in the main window.
2. Click on the tab Network.
3. Select the network interface the client should search in from the dropdown menu called Network interface.
4. Next, click OK.

The default data port is TCP/1337.

2. To change the Network Port for incoming Connections:

1. Click on Preferences in the main window.
2. Click on the tab Network.
3. Uncheck the Detect a suitable port automatically checkbox.
   
4. Specify the desired port in the dropdown menu called Network interface.
5. Click OK.
